    Question:
I have a 326L that twists off T35 string heads. The original string head lasted two years and I lost the bottom cup portion. I have put two T35 relacement heads on and it twists them off in minutes. Which head do I need and where can I get one?

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

It is upsetting that you have experienced this concern.

I am not quite understanding what is meant. Do you mean the unit spins the heads off? If so this is an indication that either the upper plate is missing maybe dropped off after you changed the first head, or that it is not being tightened properly. As the unit runs the trimmer is always trying to tighten the line head.

If you mean the heads are twisting in half, then I am very puzzled I have never heard of this.

Either way I am going to recommend that you visit the dealer with the trimmer to show them what is happening.

I took it to the Lowes where I bought The heads and three of them have no idea what"s causing it. They just gave me back the purchase price on two of them. The nut that holds the head on the  shaft is hexagon on the other end is embedded in the plastic head. The hexagon end that" embedded in the plastic is what is twisting out. I don"t know of a nut or washer or anything that goes on the shaft above it. The head just twists off and falls on the ground with the long nut stll on the shaft.
