    Question:
Hello. I have a new 5424 (bought from Sears). So far, it's a great unit. I have a problem with the hour meter, however. It read 12.4 hours when I got the machine and after 3 plus hours of use it still reads 12.4 hours. Either it's defective or installed improperly. There are 3 terminals on it. The Husqvarnaa wiring diagram doesn't really indicate which two to use. It looks to be a sendec unit. Their instructions indicate how to install it inline, which is how it was installed. I believe it is defective. How do I get a replacement? Thanks.

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

It is upsetting that you have had this failure.

Please contact Sear's as they will need to perform a pickup or a service call to determine if the meter is faulty and then if needed replace the meter under warranty.
