    Question:
My hyusqvarna model 51 chain saw is very hard to pull. Feels like it is loaded with compression. I took out the spark plug and the saw turned over normally. I didn't find any fuel in the cylinder and there is no decompression valve.

    Appreciate your help.

    Thanks

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

    This is a great question.

Please with the spark plug in the unit but the switch in the off position pull it like you were going to start the unit to determine if you have compression that is causing this or if it is the actual spark timing.

If the unit still pulls over difficult you should take this to your local dealer to have the compression tested, it maybe so high that the unit will need to be decarboned
