    Hello: We bought a Husqvarna Lawn Mower this weekend. The Model was 2042LS Tractor mower. Is there a gas gauge or something so we know how much gas there is? We run out of gas when least expected. Also,is a heavy duty model?

    Hey Chris,

    Thank you for contacting us at Answer Army.  Actually on the 2042LS models there is a window on the frame left of the operator that one can look through to tell the gas level.  I do not believe there is an actual gas gauge but this window was built to see the actual level of the gas.  Below is a link to the 2042LS Illustrated Parts List and if you look on the Chassis page and reference number 161, then you will see exactly what I am referring too.
