    Question:
    After replacing the bar and chain the nut that holds the housing loosens and the chain loosens after a few cuts.
    Also if I tighten the not too much the chain does not move at all.
    Thank you for your help

    Thanks for using the Answer Army to post your questions.

    The first question would be is the bar nut the original one that came with the machine? If not then I would say there is the problem, also if by chance the nut is not serrated then it would need to be replaced with one that is. Also tightening the nut too far will cause the rim sprocket to lock up. If the nut is serrated then I would recommend to take the machine to an authorized service center for an evaluation.
