    Question:
Hi there, Ive had my rider 15v2 awd now for just on 12 months. Ive just had the hydrolic steering pump replaced under warrenty. When the rider was being backed of the truck now back at home, both the front drive wheels were in mid air and not rotating, this seemed wrong to me as its a 4wd. I sent it straight back to the service shop and they say there is nothing wrong with it, can I have your opinion please.

Both front and rear drive levers were engaged

    Thanks Mck

     Hi Andrew,

Thank you for contacting the Answer Army to post your questions.

The situation you have explained does not necessarily mean you are having problems. The transaxles are Hydraulic units. They move and /or gain speed by the amount of input from the drive pulley. They are static at idle and when the speed increases via the drive pulley, the pumps begin to flow more and more fluid increasing the drive speed.

There is a small adjustment if needed, but please discuss the need of adjustment with your dealer. However, if the shop said there was nothing wrong, I feel confident there is nothing wrong with your Rider 15V2.

    I hope this helps.
