i have seen several models of chain(HUSQVARNA 501842572, HUSQVARNA 501842672, HUSQVARNA 501842772)
but dont have a clue as to what would be best for the fastest cuts/for durability.
I would suggest you go to Oregon's website...as they make most of the bars and chains on probably 99% of the saws made today and ask them....Try this website... www.oregoncuttinggear.com hope this helps you out...Good luck.........Paul
i would like to stick to the same brand of chainsaw i have used oregons chains before and dont like the quality.
Really...? Hmmm...seeing that Oregon makes the chain and bar for Husky saws (and most of the others)....I find this amusing.......and I was using Oregon chains/bars when I went to Forestry scool in the 70's.....pro's use them so why not me......Good luck......Have a great day..Oh and one other thing.....speed and duability don't always come together....sometimes we make little comprimises on one or the other to achive the Best over all results..
Hi John
Thanks for contacting the Answer Army to post your questions.
The chain I would go with is 531300622
h46-72 that's is reduce kick back and low vibration. This should be fastest cut for you.
Thanks again from the Husqvarna Technical Services Team
