    Question:
    I purchased a P3314 chainsaw from
Sears Sunday Dec.4th 2011. I bought it because it was right for the a small job I had trimming trees around my home.
What a disapponintment. It started ok, but it would not idle at all.I had a lift rented, and after numerous ups and downs on the lift, I went back to my old Craftsman saw. I bought this saw because it was smaller and easier to handle. At least it would run. I am not sure what I am going to do with the saw. Maybe use it as boat anchor. Poulan is not living up to its reputation.

     Hi Ron,

I would like to apologize for the inconvenience that you are experiencing on account of these issues.

At this stage I would highly recommend that you take the unit either back to Sears for repair replacement or; at their discretion return. Again, I am sorry that this is happening and it is certainly unfortunate, and situations like this are the exact reason that we do provide warranties on our equipment.
