    Question:
I just bought an 1830HV online (I'll never do this again...). It still hasn't seen snow but the morning after I walked it down the driveway and back to get used to the controls -- there was a basketball sized oil puddle on the floor underneath the unit. A local dealer said that sometimes the machines even leak on the showroom floor and the oil drains have to be tightened. The oil level seems fine and it has only dripped a little on the cardboard I put under it. I tightened the plugs on both sides.

I plan to run it for a short time more and recheck for oil leaks. Would you have a dealer check this out? Thanks

    Hi James,

Thank you for contacting Husqvarna. Sorry your having trouble with your snow thrower. Please get to your local dealer, /images/us/homeowner/dealers/dealer-locator/ explain the issue and have them evaluate the concern.

For warranty consideration you should present the unit and your original dated sales receipt to the servicing dealer.

    Hope this helps.
