The colder the ambient temp the longer it takes before the RPM drops. At full throtle - 70F. about 30 seconds, 30F. about 1 minute. Purchased Fall 2010, has about 40 hours on it. Plug good/clean and tip light tan, air filter clean, fresh oil/fuel mix might be marginally heavy on the oil by 5-10%, ratio between 40:1 - 45:1. Removing aircleaner or adding choke makes no difference. No unusual noises exists.

Thanks for the question.
First thing to check would be the fuel lines. Make sure they are not pinched or bending to restrict the fuel flow. Second use at least 89 octane I would recommend 92 or you can use tru fuel, it is a 92 fuel with no ethanol in it. The oil mix it to a 50:1 ratio using a jaso certified oil. Third after you do that and still does it do a compression check and a leak down/ vac test. Could have a leak in the system causing this problem. I recommend taking to dealer for this part.
Thanks again and have a great day.
