    Question:
Considering Husqavarna, Echo, and Stihl. I want some information on Husqavarna Chainsaws:
Are any models manufactured in US?
What is the warranty and line between manufactor defect and wear and tear. For instance, if a carb kit is required durring warranty? Would it be covered or considered normal wear?
Want to know about materials of piston and bore. I want to know if these saws are ment as a lasting product or throw away?

    Hi Timothy,

Thanks for contacting Husqvarna to post your questions.

Please review the chainsaw models on the Husqvarna website; it will give you specifications relating to each of the current unit offerings.

The U. S. built units include the Homeowner/light use models 235 and 240 (Guide Bar lengths of 14 and 16 inches), the 435 and 440 models (16 and 18 inch Bar), and the Landowner/medium duty use models 445, 450, 455, and 460 (16 to 24 length Bars).

Warranty on these chainsaws used by homeowners is 2 years for coverage against defects in materials or workmanship.

All of our professional grade saws (XP models) are manufactured in Sweden to meet the rigorous standards to maintain our legendary name.

I hope this helps with your decision making.
