Dear Luis,
You ask a very good question for us here at Answer Army. The main significant difference are the mower decks. The LZF has a "Flat" deck design, where as, the LZ has the advanced Tunnel Force mower deck. It is up to the consumer to decide which deck will fit their needs. I recommend consumers to speak with their retailer to determine which model will fit their needs the most. The LZ series of mowers are great products and I am sure you will be happy with your decision regardless if it is an LZ or LZF.
