    Question:
My 3120xp has a 36" bar and runs 3/8" pitch chain.

I want to go to a 36" bar with .404 chain.

    As far as I can figure out, I need a 404-7 rim sprocket, part #22270, a .404 pitch 104 drive link .063 gauge chain, and a .404 pitch 36".063 bar, part #608000063.

I already have the Husqvarna piston stop tool needed to do the change over.

I've always wondered how tight to torque the retaining nut, so is there a recommended torque?

    Thanks

    Hi Richard,

Thanks for contacting Husqvarna to post your question.

The clutch should be installed at 28 foot pounds or 336 inch pounds of torque.

I hope this helps answer your question.

      Hello Greg:

Thanks for the prompt torque answer.

Does my conversion parts list seem like it's complete to you?
