    Question:
    Hi,

I am about to purchase a Husqvarna 580BTS but am being told that Husqvarna is addressing an overheating issue currently and the fix version of the 580BTS won't be available until MArch of this year.

Can Husqvarna confirm this? I don't want to buy the blower if there is a new version coming out?

    thx in advance,
    Chris

    Chris,

Yes, when these units first were released some models did have an overheating problem. The problems were quickly found and a service bulletin issued to correct the blowers. Any blower available now will have the correction. The fix was removing some of the screening around the fan and a jet change.

These units are very powerful and should have no future problems (I bought one for myself).
