    Today I purchased a 128ld ( Husquarna ) trimmer - 2 cycle
    s/n-11349n101545-

    May I use unleaded 89 octane gas ( and of course will mix with two stroke oil )

    Hi TJ,

    Thank you for contacting Husqvarna. Yes 89 octane or greater is perfectly fine to use in your trimmer. I would suggest buying the highest grade (octane) gas you can find. As the higher grade has less additives in it and acts as a little bit of a safety net for your engine. Be on the watch for gas running greater than 10% ethanol as alcohol in fuel is a two cycle engines worst enemy. Hope this helps and thank you for using our products.
