    Question:
    To whom it may concern:

Today I bought a poulan pro PP4218avx from Home Depot, and I have two inquiries...

    1. After reading previous questions and answers, I would like to replace the tool-less tension adjuster with a tool one for free (it seems cheap and flimsy and I have already had issues with it). Where is, or where can I find, my local Poulan service center? I live in Natick, MA 01760.

    2. I started to cut (noting large 6" pine was the biggest) and used my Poulan for about 2-3 hours today. It will only run for about 2-5 minutes and then it stops running. It starts right back up, but this is very annoying. What could be the cause of this?

    Thank you very much.

    Ryan,

Thanks for contacting Husqvarna to post your questions.

As for the chain tensioner yes it can easily be replaced with the standard parts. Just contact our customer service line and tell them what you have and they can ship the parts out to you. Their phone number is 1-800-487-5951

For the saw running 2-5 minutes, the best thing to do is to take the saw to the nearest authorized dealer or service center to have the unit carburetor adjustment. You can get that adjustment covered under warranty for the first 30 days from the date of purchase, so take your receipt with you.

    Thanks for contacting Husqvarna.
