    Question:
I have a 435 chainsaw and the bar will not oil. I have replaced the oil pump and drive gear. If I take the bar off and run the saw, it will pump oil. I have cleaned out the oil hole on the bar. If I put the bar back on it will not oil the chain or even use oil out of the oil tank. What do I need to do to fix this?

What does "escalated" in orange letters mean?

I notice that it is written to the right of the title of this post.

I also have this problem. Hope to see an answer soon.  I have the 460 Rancher.

Had a Husqvarna dealer tell me that the Husqvarna bar oil is too thick. He suggested using 30w motor oil. It works well in these saws.

I don't understand why someone from the "Answer Army" has not commented on this question.

What does it take to get "the army of outdoor power experts" to respond to this question?
