    Question:
I bought a YTH24V54 (Briggs)last year. The tractor dies after running for a few hours. It is a battery/charging issue because I can install a new battery and it fires right up. It seems that the alternator/magneto is not charging. When it dies I get the "click, click" sound associated with a low battery. Any ideas on this(wiring/bad parts)?
    Thanks, FASOO

      Hi, FASOO

Thanks for contacting the Answer Army to post your questions.

It does sound like a charging issue, the engine is covered by the manufacturing warranty (Briggs) and if is within 2 years then Briggs would cover the warranty work.

Thanks again from the Husqvarna Technical Services Team.
