    Question:
I have a new Husqvarna 6021P, model 917-384515. It doesn't have a fuel cutoff valve, and I would like to install one so that I can use up the fuel in the engine after each use. Is there a problem doing this? Specifically, will it cause any problem with the easy choke technology? Roger Elliott

    Roger,

I cannot tell you how to modify our machinery. I can only offer advice to bring the equipment to factory specs or tolerances. I do not know how this shut off would effect the unit.

    Thanks for your question

I have the 7021, model 917-376823 and according to the manual, it is also supposed to have a fuel shut-off but I cannot find one.  I have to do work on it because it stopped running properly after a few months of use, mowing 1 - 3 times each month.  That shut-off valve would be useful.  I also wondered if its ommission from the product is contributing to my problem of the mower only running for a few seconds before stalling.
