    Question:
I have an LGT 2554 with only 24.5 hours. The mower clutch won't engage or when it does, the engine stalls. The blades all rotate freely. The original electric clutch failed in 11 hours and was replaced under warranty. It appears the same problem has occured again. Something isn't right, I'm just mowing a lawn.

    Hi

Thanks for contacting the Answer Army to post your questions.

It sounds like the clutch may be grounding out which would cause the problems that you are having. I would ask the service technician to run some electrical tests on the clutch itself.

    Thanks again for contacting Husqvarna.

With all due respect to the Answer Army, I posted my problem a month ago and this is what I get as an answer???  I even tried calling three weeks ago and got no help.  I took the mower to my dealer and by the time I arrived (15 mile trip) it was working again.  The technician never did find a problem and he said he tested the electrical system.  The mower is fine right now, but I'm not very confident the problem won't happen again.
