    Question:
I have owned three different 450 chainsaws in the last three months. All cut well - but all have had a continuous static leak of bar oil. I tried the recommended (on-line posts) opening of the oil cap filler cap after use. Didn't work. Please tell me how to fix it. Thanks.

     Pete,

The recommendation is to store the unit without oil. However once you are finished and the saw is cooled, you can open the oil filler hole and allow the pressure to be released should help. Finally only use a good quality bar and chain lube, never motor oil.
