I purchased a XT722FE on 7-14-11. Every time I use the mower I have to remove the belt drive cover and clean out the grass or the self propel won't work. The dealer I bought it from says there isn't a PIP kit for that modle.

Reviewing the Owner Manual for your mower, we note it recommends cleaning underneath the drive/belt cover every ten hours. That is the suggestion developed while testing that model when it was in the development stages, but would be considered an average run-time maintenance step.
In some conditions and applications, cleaning may be required more often, or possibly even less frequently under other applications.
We do regret to note frequent cleaning is required in your use, but trust the overall performance of the unit is satisfactory for your mowing needs.
