    Question:
    Just a comment this time...

My mower came with a flat tire (actually nearly flat). The Lowe's guys said they didn't have a compressor, so we loaded it as is. I pumped up the tire when I got home, but it quickly went back down.

To make a long story short, after asking Lowe's repeatedly what I needed to do about the tire, with no reasonable answer, I just plugged it myself.

It seems they ran over a staple in the crate when unloading the mower. They even admitted it, but still weren't any help.

I've always liked Lowe's. Not so much now, though. Just bought the mower there because of their 30 day return policy, and the discount for using the Lowe's card.

Also, they're selling the Husqvarnas as fast as they can get them in. I needed mine, and didn't want to wait any longer, or I'd have left it sitting. A flat tire isn't so much of an issue, but something new shouldn't have to be worked on before using it.

Thank you for contacting Husqvarna's Answer Army.

We sincerely regret to note the lack of support from Lowe's toward a new-purchased unit which had an obvious defect.

Every Lowe's location has a nearby Husqvarna Warranty Service Dealership assigned to handle service needs for the products they sell; if the Lowe's store did not have the ability to assist you with this problem, the least we would have expected would have been for them to refer you to that dealership and offer to pay for replacement of the damaged tire.

As that did not occur, we would suggest you contact the Store Manager, not just a department manager, and be sure he/she is aware of the non-response you received. Whether they will offer some type of compensation for the situation is something we would have no knowledge or control over, but if that manager is as Customer Conscious as they should be, they should at the very least appreciate being advised of the situation so they can assure their employees will respond in a better manner to any future incidents of this nature.

Again, thank you for contacting Answer Army.
