    Question:
    Hi,
I have a 394XP (see attached data plate. I'm searching for the appropriate parts manual. All I can find is the manual for the 91 model year. Is that a valid manual for this model year?

    Thanks

      Urban,

The third row on your nameplate, with the number#:  99 2600055 is the serial number, and the year is the first two digits or "99", so its a 1999. Go to the attached link: /images/us/support/download-manuals/?query=394XP&types=O%2cI&brands=

And you will find a Manual for: 394XP 1999-01.

      I hope this helps!

Urban, On a second look at your photograph I realized you must have a much older saw then a 1999, so my mistake, and hopefully Husqvarna will have a solution to your problem.

      Urban,

I think the SN# on your saw is Just the number (2600055) and its Orange in color, so you only use the first number (2), and because its Orange it was made in the 1990's, therefor its a 1992. This would make a little more sense to the age of your saw. Here is a link to a  IPL 394XP 1992-10, /images/ddoc/HUSI/HUSI1992_USen/HUSI1992_USen_I9200010_.pdf

I think this IPL will get you closer, I hope this helps!
