    Question:
I have a model 10527SBE snow thrower, purchased in 2004. Ilive in southern New Englend and we do not get much snow. My neighbor purchase the same snow thrower at the same time and has had good luck with his. My problem is that mine keeps breaking down. In jANUARY 2011 I had the auger engagement rod replaced:$137.36.November 2011 Replaced both drive belts $71.27. January 2012 had skid plate, bearing flange, impeller drive belt replaced: $265.00. After that we didn't get any more snow last year. The first time that I used it this year the imoeller drive belt let go. I replaced that: #37.30. My question is Why does this machine kep breaking down? I use it carefully, and do not abuse it or push it hard. When I purchase it, I spent the extra money to get a Huskvarna because I believed that i was buying the best product available. So far I am extremely frustrated with this machines performance.

I bought a model10530SBE in 2006 and have replaced the Hex Shaft which was warped, the tech said I must of abused it (after two 4 inch snow storms...really), I have also gone thru 6 auger belts and 4 drive belts in 6 years, the idler pully cracked into 4 pieces and again the the tech said I would of had to abused it to do that. I had a 22 year old Ariens that looked like new when I traded for the Husqvarna I service all my equipment regulary and do not abuse my investments.

I think that is the standard answer here. Sorry Rene
