    I have a husqvarna 55 and wanted to change the oiler .i tried to take the clutch off to no avail .I put it together and now it wont start. What did i do ?

      Russell, I need more information, Typically just removing the clutch should not effect how the engine operates however, How did you try and remove the clutch? What did you use for a piston stop to hold the piston? Did you try and hold the flywheel to remove the clutch ? NOTE: By by the way Never  ever hold the flywheel to try and remove the clutch. I need to know what you removed or dissasssembled to try and work on the clutch.

      Please write a short list of what you dissassembled and what you did, also what are the symptoms now, when you say it doesn't start. Is the engine getting spark from the spark plug ?, Is the pull starter working properly and turning the engine over? Any imformation will help me to diagnose the problem.

      Also, If you still want to remove the clutch let me know, and I can research that too! I can probably send you a list of "How to do it" Instructions,  Why were you removing the clutch?
