    Question:
When attempting to mow my front yard the mower stops traveling, yet the motor is running at normal speed. It seems something is slipping. Is this the transmission or the freewheel control slipping? The mower is new ( only 2 days )It is on a small incline. Is the mower made to stop traveling if the incline is too steep?

    Hello grasscutter,

Are you trying to mow an incline in 1st gear?  If so, then you may want to read the previous post of a similar topic.

Otherwise, if your mower is not moving at all in any gear then I recommend reading another comment to a previous post in Answer Army.

If you are attempting to mow with the tractor up an incline then you may also want to try mowing diagonally while following the comments in the first link above.
