Thanks for contacting Answer Army. Unfortunately, if the new fuel cap will not solve the problem then the tank and cap may need to be replaced. Poulan Pro chainsaws have a 2-year warranty for parts and labor, when used for household purposes. It sounds like your local dealer may have a couple of the saws with the same issue and we would recommend them contacting us. So let your local servicing dealer check the saw for the date of manufacture to see if its covered under warranty. Then they can contact our Technical Team for further assistance.
