H30 is a micro-lite chain with smaller lighter weight cutters ans also the standard chain for the 450e, while the H21 is whats called a micro-chisel, it is a heavier chain with a bigger cutter that has a chisel tooth which means the cutting corner is square and comes to a point.  The H21 is considered a more aggresive chain but is also more prone to kickback.

These chains are NOT intergchangeable as the H30 is a .050" guage and the H21 is a .058" guage chain.  You will want to check your bar to find out which guage your saw will take.

If your bar is .050" and you like the idea of the Micro chisel chain, you could use the H23 type chain which is also a .050
