    Question:
I recently purchased a new 2454 ridingmower, from my local dealer, the first day I used it the forward and reverse lever broke off due to not being more than tac welded from the factory, also the first day I used it the motor would sputtering after you put a load on it, when I took it in to have the lever fixed I told the dealer but he could not find the problem, I took it back home and it progressively got worse everytime I used it untill now it does not work at all I am pretty disgusded because my dealer told me he does not know what the problem is, looks like i just got taken for a 2600 dollar ride, my question is, is this a normal thing, where do i go to get it fixed, is it under warrenty, it has less than 20 hours on it, or do I have to buy a new motor. I am not happy

    Hi Dennis,

We apologize for the inconvenience you had with our product.  It does sound like your product is covered under warranty but without knowing the full details of your particular model then your local dealer will be able to tell for sure.

We are determined in providing the best warranty support and customer care through our dealers.

Please refer to the web site below for another servicing dealer near you. I would recommend trying a different dealer for a second opinion.

Contact the dealer and make an appointment to have the product evaluated for service.
