    Question:
I bought a 435 chainsaw on 6/24/11, and used it for about 2 months. Then for about 1 month I did not use it. When I tried to start it after that month of not using it it did not start. I took it to the dealer and he found the carburetor welch plug sealant came off. So they cleaned and sealed the carburetor, and charged me a $100.93 for labor. Why is this not covered by the warranty? They also said this may have been caused by the ethanol in the gas, but the manual has no warning not to use gas with ethanol. I can't afford to have this happen again to my chain saw.

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

It is upsetting that you have had this experience.

I would ask that your dealer contact Husqvarna technical support to ask if this should be warranty. If Husqvarna support technicians agree then the dealer can file for warranty.

This saw is an absolute piece of ***, worked well twice and came apart every use after that. Carb adjustment is least of my probs. I have a phone pic in the store of a tag that gurantees 1 pull start everytime, you a bunch of *** liars. The pull start housing screws rattled loose by the 7th time I used it and had the treat of the rope getting tangled and then wiping into my knuckles, that husquavarna. The other side panel came loose as well and the clutch housing was bent. This machine literally rattled apart. When I call customer support I get attitude instead of apologies. 300 dollars of business means nothing to this company, if lowes doesnt give me a store credit this thing is going into the river. *** you husquavarna.
