    Question:
I have a rider mower. The nylon (plastic) gear that fits on the steering shaft is not stout enough to hold up under the pressure to turn the mower. I've only had mine for 3 months and it's alread wallowed out. Are there any plans to reinforce the inside of the gear or put a dowell through it to help sturdy it up?

Thanks for the feedback, Norm.  We've heard this feedback from a few customers and it has been forwarded to Weed Eater's engineers so they can plan future product enhancements.

In the meantime, your warranty will cover the replacement of the worn part.
