    Question:
I purchased a HU725EX AWD just last week. When trying to back up, and my hand off of the self propelled lever the front wheels will not free-up. They stay in a locked position which makes it hard to pull the lawn mower back. Is there an adjustment on the belt that I can do to free the front wheels up? If the mower sets for just a bit the front wheels will free up.

This is very common with most self-propelled lawn mowers, no matter the manufacturer. If you let go of the drive levers and push the mower slightly forward it will disengage the gears in the wheels and allow you to push it freely.

Thank you for the tip. This is my first AWD mower. In the past I have only had rear wheel drive mowers.
