Hi - I just purchased a Husqvarna HU725AWD mower and am having two issues. I cannot get the blades to engage even when pushing the blade control forward and holding the control bar to the handle. Also, when I try to stop the engine (via moving the engine control lever to "STOP" it will idle very low but not turn off. I've had to disengage the spark plug to shut it down. Hoping this is a stupid user problem and not a defective mower. Thanks for your help.

The problem with it not shutting off could very easily be just an adjustment with the cable.
As far as the blades not engaging it sounds like it could be a cable issue as well. Do you have a local dealer you can take it to? The mower comes with a 3 year warranty that should cover any problems.
