Question:

I stupidly bought a universal hedge trimmer attachment in hopes of using it with my 128LDX trimmer. I just read that the LDX is designed to work with Husqvarna only attachments. Is there a part that I can order that will convert the square universal shaft to the something that will work with the LDX?

Before you go through a lot of trouble check the connector that is in it 128LDX shaft first; most trimmer uses flex drive shafts that are square drive.

The statement "LDX is designed to work with Husqvarna only attachments" is probably legal posting so they would not responsible for damages or injures caused by not using their products.

I'm sorry, I should have been more clear. I have the attachment and that is what prompted my question. The LDX does not have a square drive shaft. If I recall correctly, it looks like a star.
