    Question:
after ordering a 576XP G, I noticed the air filter is not the heavy duty element type pictured on the descriptive page at Husqvarna website. the air filter that came on the new saw is a much smaller plastic screen type. obviously a cheaper less effective air filter will not protect the top end as well.
this is a blatant curveball misleading the consumer, and is deceptive. why do you people at Husqvarna do this?
I want the better quality air filter that is shown on the webpage in order to protect my engine. how do I get what I paid for from Husqvarna?

once again it just goes to show that nothing gets done if you don't complain.  the 576XP G depicted on Husqvarna website is not even the same as what they send you.  you will get a cylinder cover that is 2 or 3" s shorter, along with the .50cent air filter(not depicted).

after clearly showing the deceptive practice to the higher ups,  they agreed to send the taller cylinder cover along with the heavy duty felt element type air filter that is depicted.

according to Husqvarna, those are supposedly options, but the webpage does not say so.  the old hook and ladder did not work on this old woodsman.

take notice consumers, you have rights.

thanks to Husqvarna for owning up and doing the right thing where this 1 instance is concerned...

      problem solved...
