    Question:
the local hardware store that sells husq chainsaws recently had a promo sale for new model 445. the manual that came with them, and the id tag on the machines listed them as 50.2 cc , yet all the websites, this one included rates them as 45cc what gives?
i have an older special 42 and am looking to get something with a little more power. thanks, david

the 545 is 50.1cc  the 450 is in the 50 category, but the 445 is 45cc.

if you need more torque for bigger work then you need to move up the chain just a bit farther.  the 576 is in the 74cc category and will impress with much faster cutting times.  but that saw will carry you into the $1000.00 range.

if you want torque on a smaller budget.  I suggest you take timberpro 62cc out for an impressive test drive.  this saw is super durable and will shorten cut times in the $200.00 ballpark.  and this is not a throwaway saw. it is a legit contender gaining market share as of this posting.

I would recommend The Husqvarna 555 autotune it has a lot of power but the price is not cost too much
