    I am an owner of a landscape contracting company that maintains large commercial properties. We must depend on our equipment to get us through the day with a minimum of problems. We only purchase the best equipment we can get, and always from a reputable dealer. When one of our pieces of equipment breaks down, we need it repaired ASAP. Why, when I can order just about anything from just about anywhere and have it delivered overnight,does it take from 10 to 20 days for my dealer to get the parts I need to get back to work? Can I order the needed parts from another dealer that maintains a more complete inventory of parts? This is a problem that has existed for far too many years now.

      I just received in a 345 crankcase that took over 3 weeks to get in from Jacks.

      Can not answer why. I just know as an Independent repair here turn around time on the chainsaw parts does have a long lead time and I also like quicker turn around. With order parts out Oklahoma for the mower and string trimmer the parts are taking a normal 5-7 business days to arrive here which is inline with my other vendors.

      What I can suggest is once you have the part number Google it without any spaces or dashes and check those listed sites for in stock items that is what having to do currently to get the turn around shorter. Costs more in the long run but customers that willing to the extra cost it is not problem..
