    Question:
RZ46i Anti-scalp Wheel Adjustment Issue - I recently purchased a RZ46i zero turn mower. During initial set-up I attempted to adjust the anti-scalp wheels on the mower deck and found that the left-front wheel (viewed sitting on mower) cannot be adjusted below the upper most hole. There are 4 positions and interferrence between the edge of the mower deck and the wheel occur in all postitions except the upper most hole. In reviewing this forum it appears other users have expirenced the same issue with NO RESPONSE from the Ask & Answer staff. I have attached pictures to give better clarity of the issue. Please let me know if there is a corrective action for this issue. THanks ! IMG_1259 shows contact between wheel and mower deck, even with deck guard removed contact still exists between mower deck and wheel in any position except upper most adjustment hole.

Here is an excerpt of the same issue as expirenced by another forum member...
Just took delivery on a RZ4623. While going through the set-up on the anti-scalp rollers I found that when I tried to adjust the front left roller(as seen while seated on the machine)cannot be adjusted to the 3rd hole down. It rubs on the mower deck. I went back to Lowes and found that the other two they had in stock had the same problem. This seems to be an engineering problem. If the roller carrier was moved toward the center of the machine about an inch it would clear. What is the solution? I don't want to drill another hole because it would weaken the carrier. If I were to shim the roller out, it would stick out past the edge of the deck.

My NEW RZ46i was delivered today and has the exact same problem. This is an obvious engineering problem. Called Huskavarna and all they could suggest is to take it to a service center.  They knew nothing of this problem and it appears to be on ALL RZ46i models. No need for me to post another picture, the previous pic by Brion Gallo perfectly demonstrates the issue prefectly.

Hell, it is a brand new mower.  I don't want some service center grinding down a brand new mower deck for clearance tolerances and dealing with the resulting rust issues in a couple of years.

Huskavarna needs to make this right now!

I had the same problem, The wheels are made of tough plasic so I took that one to my grinding wheel and removed the amount needed to make it fit. Also added a second washer.  Took about 15 minutes .

I wouldn't mess with grinding on the deck.
