    Question:
Have a 2008 4421DXP. Recently replaced clutch assembly. Now when shifting to forward or reverse lever is much tighter than before and grinds when trying to engage in both forward & reverse. Took cover off, belt tension is very slight at idle. Drum/Sprocket that turns transmission is constantly turning. Should this turn even in neutral? Belt is barely riding on clutch assembly, when I hold drum to keep from turning shift is smooth and easy with no grinding. Should there be resistance from transmission to keep from turning?

If the setup on clutch is anything like the SportWorks Wagon a customer have here they are very touchy about having low idle speed. Too high and it is very hard to engage the forward or reverse. When I also noticed that there are two differ clutch setups one for gasoline and one for diesel. Your model indicated it is a diesel unit; make sure you have installed the correct calibrated clutch assembly.

Other than I can't be of much help as I nearly no usefully experience on these systems. If you know of anyone in motorcycle and four wheeler service they probably can of more help as would see the ATVs and UTVs a lot more.
