    Question:
My father owns a 1983-1985ish 24r 2 stroke Husqvarna bushcutter. It has been and and he has kept it working all these years. Last night i broke the trimmer head that the string comes out of and am in desperate need of a new one. The only numbers still on the thing that are legible are 445784. Can i just but any Husqvarna brushcutter trimmer head for it or do I need to look in a junk yard somewhere??
I found the manual thing w all the parts numbers but I'm unsure which part is what....

You most likely can just replace the head assembly .

The parts manual indicates it is PN 501912801 which has been replaced by PN 695000352

Here is one online source. You may shop around and find a better price. Also you may also consider an aftermarket replacement head assembly.
