    Question:
How do I keep the front wheels from falling off of my YTH24V48 riding mower?
    Details:

I bought a YTH24V48 at lowes about 4 months ago.  I have cut the yard maybe 5 times.  Yesterday as I was backing into the garage I noticed the left front wheel was at a severe tilt and seemed to be about to slide off the axel.  I stopped the mower and put on the parking break.  I found the rubber cover, two washers and a c-clip in the driveway.  I used a jack to raise the front end of the mower and put the tire back on cliping the c-clip in the grove where it belongs.  Is there a remedy from Husqvarna for this issue.  Reading on the internet, it seems to be a design flaw in the mower.

This particular retaining system is use most of the Husqvarna, Poulan, Craftsman, and even Some John Deere mowers. It usually a very reliable system using the E-clip. A loose fitting E-clip can be knocked off as you turn side to side as the slides from the inside to the outside travel limit. I simply don't hardily see any coming in the shop with this problem but of course I am just a small independent shop.

Check with local servicing dealer to see they have any fix issued by Husqvanva

I checked with one of the local repair shops and like you they don't see this very often.  I just hate thinking of what would have happened if one of my kids or my wife had been out cutting down hill and the wheel had come off.  That could have been a nasty accident very easily.
      Thanks
