Serial number on the bar is A/45 .050/13 3/8 68DL 107797 Sk but still need manual!

68 DL IS AN 18" BAR MANUAL WILL BE THE SAME IF YOU GO TO HUSQVARNA.COM AND AT THE TOP RIGHT CORNER IT SAYS CUSTOMER SERVICE. ONCE YOU ARE THERE YOU WILL SEE MANUALS. HIT ENTER AND A BOX WILL APPEAR. ENTER 455 AND A LIST OF 455 MANUALS WILL APPEAR. SCROLL DOWN TO 2009 AND PRINT

Thanks for the information I take it that 09 in the serial number tells you it is a 2009! Sorry about all the confusion got stung by a bumble bee yesterday foot is has big as a football! Lots of Benadryl!

Lisa at least you wasn't like me several years ago. I drove into swarm of them. The driver behind me thought I was nuts when I stopped, jumped out, strip my shirt off and was swatting myself everywhere. I only got strung 7 or 8 times. I probably would have thought the same thing. At the bubble bees are not as bad as yellow jacket wasps which not only string they bite as well. I hit one their nests with push mower.
And yes the first two or four digit when it was manufactured is the year.
