Just bought a brand new 223L trimmer. I read the instructions, and went to give it a go. I start it according to the instructions and the unit dies out on me unless I hold down the throttle. Should I have to adjust the carb already on a brand new unit?

May have solved my own problem.. went back outside and tinkered with it.. put it on half choke, it started right up.. rev'd it several good times and took the choke off.. idle'd like a champ.
After re-reading the instructions.. maybe I flooded it on my first try? I believe I had the throttle squeezed on the first full choke start attempt.
