    WARNING! On 3-27-2014 I purchased a Husqvarna YTH24V48 Lawn Tractor from my local dealer, I paid for the extra strong mowing deck. Prior to this I had a John Deere lawn tractor for 20 years.

    Today after mowing I noticed the right side of the deck was leaning and touching the ground. I looked under the tractor and noticed the right rear bracket that holds up the mowing deck broke loose - a very poor design as well as a poor weld!

    I am mowing the same area I have mowed for the last 29 years.

    If I would have known this was so CHEAPLY made I wouldn't have purchased this! I spent $2,105.95 on a lawn tractor that only lasted almost 6 weeks! VERY DISAPPOINTED!

    Yes still waiting to see if Husqvarna will do anything - as the grass grows.

      May 13, 2014:  Yes, the Dealer was having problems with Husqvarna - thus this post.  Finally conected.  I will get a new deck but first I have to remove the deck and bring it into the dealer - then have to wait for a couple weeks for the new deck to arrive - pick it up and install myself.  
      I hope it arrives soon - my grass is growing fast!!  Don't know why Husqvarna makes me do all this work on a new lawn tractor?  Wasn't my fault for the poor craftsmanship!!!
       
      My response:
      May 18, 2014:  Husqvarna group Cathrine, an update, I met with the person I bought the tractor from this afternoon the deck has not shipped and it is now unknown when it will ship.  My grass is growing, I spent over $2000 on what I thought was a reliable product. I will be fined if I don't keep the grass cut and even worse the fire department won't defend my home from a wildfire because my grass is to high! I will do everything I can to inform folks of the bad service I am receiving from Husqvarna!

      I just had the same thing happen to me with the identical model. Did you ever get this resolved? My tractor is less than two years old with 32 hours on it.
