Question:

I have a Husqvarna HU600L. I need to replace the drive control cable. I cannot find direction on how to properly tension the cable with the handlebar assembly. Any info helps.

The nut on the cable housing goes in the yellow circled area then you adjust the cable.

One thing I don't understand- where and how do I mount the cable? Am I missing something? I am familiar with this kind of cable and don't see where it mounts. I'm confused with the interior of this assembly.

  To further clarify, it popped open when I removed it from the lawnmower. I am trying to put it back together- the lawn is getting too long!

    I wish I could be of further help but I haven't had one these in the shop to take a part yet. I usually take a few images on these assemblies when I do so I can put them back together myself.

I figured it out, there was a tensioner assy that was missing. I put it in and voila...
