    Question:
Why does the pp335 have counter clockwise rotation? This trimmer seems to throw more debri back at the operator than any other trimmer I have ever owned. I will use it a few more times before I decide to return it or modify the shield. Poor design.

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

While we understand your concerns you may need to refer to your operators manual for proper usage instructions. Per the manual

"Cut only from your left to your right. Cutting on right side of the shield will throw debris away from the operator."

This direction of rotation is common for a trimmer with a straight shaft, while clock wise rotation is common for a curved shaft unit.

Modifications should never be made to any equipment, equipment should be operated as designed by the manufacturer.

If you have any further questions please contact your local authorized service dealer.
