    Question:
I have a HU 675AWD mower and the gas cap has been a problem since day 1. Very hard to screw on correctly and occasionally dripped. The dripping has gotten worse over this season. Is there an updated gas cap available or do I have to purchase a new gas tank and cap and hope that the new one will not leak?

Probably will take a new tank especially your having problems *** the cap on especially the threaded portion of the tank fill is messed up. If the threads are fine then all you may need is a new cap.

Briggs have redesign some the tanks and no longer have screw on caps. It is still a twist to close type. So in order to get the correct cap you will need all the engine numbers including the date code.
