How do I complete the online registration when the program cannot find my product model? I typed in "455 Rancher" (the name used on the Husqvarna site) and have tried the search function several times. Even after a couple of days, it is still searching. It will not complete the registration with my typed in model and never completes the search.
Answer
When they fix their product search service you'll be able to register you product. The service is currently failing.

Yes, I am having the same problem.
I cant find a way to email in a customer support question, only a phone contact. I don't want to surface mail my registration because I also bought oil to get the extended warranty. I'll post here if I find any solution.

Completed registration: wish I could say there was a secret to it, but what eventually worked was to use Chrome browser, reload page several times, and keep trying the model number in the product box.
Now it looks like I'm going to be waiting for a registration confirmation, from the sounds of others posts around here!

I encountered a similar situation when trying to register my snow blower. I tried different browsers, but the product search continued to come back with product not found. So tried to search for a different product, and that search worked.
My model is the 24 inch "ST 224", and it could not be found. I searched for the 27 inch model "ST 227" and the search came back with 2 options.
I ended up removing the space from my search, using "ST224" instead of "ST<space>224" and it worked!
Most search engines will ignore blank space(s) in order to produce more results; I would recommend to whoever hosts the product registration site that they beef up their search engine; it is not customer friendly.
I hope this helps others.
