    Question:
Leaking Chain Oil Cap...I purchased a 327P5X Pole Saw on 06/22/11. When assembling today and filling the chain tank with chain oil, the cap will not screw on squarely, allowing a slow leak of oil. The threads on the cap do not appear to be stripped or cross threaded. After turning in all the way, when looking at the cap from the side, you can clearly see that the cap does not fit evenly all the way around (small gap on one end). The leak will prove to be a pain during storage. Will another cap help or is this possibly a defective body?

    Thank you,
    Charles Carver

    Thank you for contacting AnwerARMY.

It is upsetting that you have experienced this problem. I would encourage that you take this to your local dealer to have a new cap installed as this will be the only way to determine if it is the cap or body that is at fault.

You can find your local Husqvarna dealers for sales and service and parts as well as manuals using the link.
